Now that our musical time travel machine has lande

Now that our musical time travel machine has landed us square in the 20s, its time to have a gander at our fashion in music ICONS! Who better to launch us into the roaring 20’s than the inimitable Josephine Baker?
American born French singer/actress, Baker made history as the first Black woman to star in a motion picture (Siren of the Tropics).
She refused to perform for segregated audiences and is heralded for her contributions to the civil rights movement as well as aiding the French resistance as a spy in WWII.
She had an obvious flare for the dramatic as expressed all the way through to her choice in pets, included dogs, cats, fish, parrots, a cheetah named Chiquita, chimpanzee, parakeet, snake, a pig named Albert and a goat named Toutoute.
Nothing more fashionable than love and compassion for all humans and animals!!
We adore Josephine Baker AND her stunning fashion sense.
